Every Thursday PSM, P1A, 12R, 2W and 3RP are learning about Japanese Culture and some basic Japanese language. Last week, Japan celebrated Doll's Day, or Hina Matsuri. It is a traditional Japanese celebration held on March 3rd each year. It's also known as Girls' Day and is a time to wish for the health and happiness of young girls. Families display a set of ornate dolls dressed in the clothing of the Imperial Court, with the dolls arranged on a tiered platform. This week PSM, P1A, 12R were able to make a lovely Hina Matsuri Crown. 2W & 3RP are still working on a
different Hina Matsuri craft activity.
