Gin Gin State School prides itself on providing a variety of sporting opportunities for students. Students participate in weekly physical education lessons which are focused at improving student’s skills in a variety of sports.
Gin Gin State School students are given the opportunity to participate in a variety of sporting programs including inter-school sports, Australian Rugby League (ARL) Foundation Cup and swimming lessons.
Inter-school sports
Throughout the school year Gin Gin State School host a Sports Day Carnival for schools within the Gin Gin District . Students in year 4-6 participate in carnivals, playing a variety of sports, including soccer and touch football.
Swimming lessons
Swimming lessons occur in term 4 as part of our physical education lessons, and conclude with the school’s annual swimming carnival.
