Students from year 5 & 6 participated in the Bundaberg Science and Engineering Challenge Discovery Day for 2024. The Discovery Day was presented by the University of Newcastle in cooperation with the Rotary Club of Bundaberg Central. This enrichment day, which was held at the Bundaberg Multiplex, was a great opportunity for our students to engage in a positive experience of science and engineering.
Each school 'team' was divided into eight groups of between 2 to 4 students per group.
Students were awarded points for each activity and the school with the most cumulative points at the end of the day is declared the winner.
