Gin Gin State School was first opened in 1882 as a one teacher school. The original building was close to the present Gin Gin Post Office in Mulgrave Street but has since moved to its present location in May Street. The school has been at this site for around 120 years.
The school has evolved over the years from originally educating primary and high school students to where it currently caters for students from the ages of
5 – 12 (Prep – Year 7).
The school buildings are a mixture of modern and traditional design which compliments each other within fantastic grounds.
Recently completed facilities such as a large undercover area and new toilet block enhance the schools ability to provide the best possible for our students.
