ENROLMENTS
Due to the popularity of our school it would be greatly appreciated if you could register your child’s name at the preschool during 2006 for the 2007 Prep Year so that we can have an indication of the number of students for 2007 Prep. Please ensure all admission forms are returned to the Primary School before the end of the 2006 school year.
To be eligible to enrol in the Prep Year in 2007, a child must be born between 1 January 2002 and 30 June 2002. This is referred to as the half cohort. Children born 1 January 2001 to 31 December 2001 will enrol in Year 1 in 2007.
Admissions of Year 1 pupils will take place from Wednesday 18th January 2006 at the school office. Children who have attended the GinGinPreschoolCenter in 2005 are not required to complete an enrolment form for Year 1 as the preschool enrolment form automatically carries over to the Primary school.
The Principal may require a parent to produce documentary evidence of a child’s date of birth. This will apply to all children in Year 1 who did not attend our preschool.
It is desirable that children eligible for enrolment in Year 1 next year take part in the orientation activities held at the school in late November. Early enrolment is important so that your child can participate in this activity.
Parents who would like to enroll their child/ren mid-term are welcome to call into the school office any time during school hours to fill in an enrolment form.
